This substance has versatile applications in the field of elastomer curing. It can function as a primary accelerator, a secondary accelerator, or a sulphur donor in the vulcanization of most sulphur-cured elastomers. It promotes rapid curing, resulting in accelerated cure rates. It also contributes to the formation of a robust vulcanization plateau, exhibiting excellent heat aging resistance and compression set resistance in Sulphur-less and EV cure systems.
